The European Commission has prioritised the waste management sector for its ‘better regulation’ initiative and will shortly finalise the revision of the Waste Framework Directive. At this conference, expert key-note speakers and panelists will focus on the topics covered in the revision, such as national prevention plans and waste shipment. Organised by ACR+ and the Brussels Environment Administration (IBGE), with the support of Environment Minister for the Brussels-Capital Region and in association with various other organisations, the event follows on from the first Better Regulation – Waste conference, which was held in June 2006.
